CHADO(JAPANESE TEA CEREMONY)IN ENGLISH

Chanoyu (Chadou/Japanese Tea Ceremony) in Gekko Ann

To the people who wish to contact and learn Japanese culture,
  Gekko Ann is the answer.

You can learn Chanoyu in English directly from Mr. Iwanami, the Master of   Gekko Ann, who has ten years of living experience in Sydney.

Chanoyu is not only to learn the way of tea but also learn other traditional Japanese cultural activities such as flower arrangement, koudo(smell incense), and calligraphy.

You will experience wearing a kimono(Japanese traditional costume) in class and also perchase your very own kimono, and bring it back home.

Being based in Kamakura, which is one the most historical cities such as Kyoto, you shall also have the opportunity to see, feel and enjoy Japanese historical heritages and atmosphere.

English classes are available every week in chashitsu (Japanese traditional tea room ) where it uses the very traditional japanese tatami mat.

For further information, please contact Mr. Iwanami, the Master ( Anshu in Japanese) of Gekko Ann.
